Bliss Balls

Little balls of bliss!

Bliss balls are balls of fruit and nuts. There are tons of recipes on the Web but I based mine on the Yoga in Daily Life recipe and the Bliss Ball III recipe from the CookeryClub. They make great snacks or serve a couple of balls with yoghurt or ice cream as a dessert.

This post provides the basic bliss ball recipe and describes my favourite versions of the recipe.

Nut-free recipes: See Regan's Bliss Balls and Regan's Special for nut-free bliss balls.

Basic Bliss Ball recipe

Makes approximately 12 bliss balls.

  1. Cut fruit into small pieces.
  2. Mix fruit, oats/LSA/nuts and seeds, and vanilla.
  3. Add enough orange juice for the ingredients to bind.
  4. Add about a teaspoon of mixture into your hands, squeeze excess juice from mixture, and roll into a small ball.
