Tzatziki

A versatile dish that can be used as an appetiser, snack or sauce.

Times

Preparation:
20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural yoghurt
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small lebanese cucumber
  • Squeeze of lemon juice

Method

  1. Dice the cucumber into small cubes.
  2. Place yoghurt in a bowl.
  3. Add cucumber and grated or crushed garlic.
  4. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  5. Add lemon to taste.

Serve with crackers, crudites or bread, or use as a condiment for salad or meat.
